Body armor, automatic weapons, and an armored personnel carrier, more than 400 children stripped from their mothers’ arms and all of this in the state of Texas. Now I wish to make it very clear that I do not condone the actions of this sect, however in the interest of fairness I feel I must point this out. You see the ACLU has not rushed to these peoples aid because of the civil rights abuses perpetrated against these people. You must understand they built this compound as a way of bettering their lives, they were not hurting anyone as a matter of fact there was one complaint filed against one man and yet it was necessary to take them all in and search the entire compound, take children from their mothers and detain numerous men and women and they were not even given the customary allowances of special circumstances.

As you know we have heard time and time again that we cannot separate families, it is wrong, it is heartless and cruel unless those people happen to be American citizens. Where is the outcry for these families that have been separated? While we may believe what they were doing was wrong we also have to take into account that the only side we have really heard is that of the media. The same media who castigates ICE for raiding homes and work places searching for illegal immigrants, the same media that beats the incessant drum of we simply cannot separate families. You and I do not know what went on in that compound any more than we know what was going on in Waco, we know a lot of what we were told about that and Ruby Ridge was wrong and one has to wonder if in the rush to publish this story if some of the facts may have been bumbled or dramatized for ratings.
<O:p</O:p
I have to wonder why it is that they only go after so – called sects, you do not hear of any of these raids on houses of prostitution, drug operations, but they always publicize these raids like these are the most vile creatures on the face of the earth. NAMBLA, an organization who helps pedophiles find their victims has first amendment rights to publish their trash online regardless, whom it hurts, but you let one teenager call in a report of abuse and suddenly they are taking in anyone there. That is another thing that bothers me, early on in their reporting they said that these women and young girls had no knowledge of the outside world, if that is to be taken as fact then how did this young girl presumably raised in this compound with no access to the outside world know to call the cops? How did she get to a phone? How did she know to say she was being abused if in fact these marriages were common practice and how did she know to call it rape?
<O:p</O:p<O:p</O:p
Equal protection under the law, is it practiced in the USA? If it is then why is that illegal immigrants are released even though it is known that they are illegally in the United States because of special circumstances in other words to take care of their children, and these children are wards of the state? One could say that both were bad parents simply because they brought their children into a situation where they knew they might get separated, might get arrested and might even lose custody of their children, yet one group is given leniency because they have those children that they put in harms way and the other is not. So which is it are we not going to separate all families because it is wrong or are we going to separate them all? You can’t have it both ways
