I think Ted and Newt should have a cranium contest to see which one has the most right angles. Just lay some joist hangers on their jaws and you got a set of porch stairs.

Newt's cubish head sits atop a neckless clavicle and can only rotate by pulling the extra flaccid chin meat across the miles of moist cellular landscape.

Ted's blocky head is much more frightening and as such requires a 65 horsepower Kubota to lurch it around using the bucket as a fulcrum. I'm watching the Red Wings game and suddenly I'm seeing this bizarre TV spots with Nanci Pelosi and Newt Gingrich sitting on a couch in front of the US Capitol (like the opening to Friends) and babbling something about climate change.

I pour out the remainder of my Bud Light convinced I must be hallucinating. Later, thinking I had imagined it I see yet another ad with Al Sharpton and Pat Robertson sitting on the same couch again blithering something about climate change. Only this time I replay the TeVo and see that it's real - so I go to the web site...

A few clicks later <why join="" we="">and I see my 5th grade teacher Joyce Birmingham telling us that "climate change is real" - OMG they got her too! (If you don't believe me, click the link and you will see your 5th grade teacher!)

I read the FAQ and find that Al Gore founded and financed this scam ripoff and the goal is to bring public opinion "past the tipping point and convince public elected leaders to take bold action."

Now I'm in a cold sweat - the site doesn't even contain bogus climate model charts or pseudo science forecasts - it's nothing more then an appeal to URGENCY stating that the "international scientific community agrees that we have only a short time to act...". And we must enact an effective international treaty immediately".

Are they afraid we will notice the earth has been getting cooler since 1998? Or that we'll figure out that CO2 actually cools the planet or that without CO2 the planet would not sustain life? Or that warming is 99% caused by sunspot activity, not SUV's? Why the great URGENCY I wonder?

I wouldn't be alarmed if I just saw Nancy and Al on the psychiatrist couch - but what the hell is Newt doing there drinking the KoolAid?

Newt may just think that it is a political loser to try to oppose the AGW juggernaut. The problem is that liberals control (are) academia, the media and the rich. The pressure created by political correctness is always larger than we realize. It's why so many Republicans "grow" in office.

I think it is important to learn not to forgive or forget. Liberals use "McCarthyism" but pretend to forget that there were Communists in government (Alger Hiss, Harry Hopkins, Laughlin Currie). Liberals use "swiftboating" when in fact, Kerry's actions were a disgrace.

The alarmists now admit there is no hurricane increase and is not going to be one. The sea level rises are not panning out as predicted. So the issue is how do we signal that there will be accountability and no forgiveness to anyone who got on a moral high horse and demanded control over our economic lives on a false premise? How do we lay the foundation for decades of payback? Liberals do that even when they have no grounds to do so. Maybe we should try it.

Have you seen it? Newt Gingrich and Nancy Pelosi on TV to demand federal sponsorship of new forms of "clean" energy to combat what Gingrich calls, during the ad, "climate change." Notice, when you view the ad that Newt does not use the words "global warming." Does this mean that Gingrich will claim, at a later date, that his effort was actually some kind of clever PR ploy to snatch the issue away from the left?

Reality check for Speaker Gingrich: President Bush and Carl Rove have already tried it ... and failed. Their effort began with an EPA report to the UN that stated:

Notice, when you view the ad that Newt does not use the words "global warming."That's the result of the AGW loons realizing that warming is too restrictive. They want to blame EVERY climate phenomenon on man—warming and cooling, droughts and floods, winds and calm, humidity and dryness, etcetera, etcetera.

And when the continuing drop in average temperature blows the warming crap into tiny fragments, they'll switch to global cooling and keep going without missing a beat. They don't care for facts. They're elitists who are lusting for power over the nations, the world economies, and the little people.
