$112 billion dollars a year; and I'd say that's a very low estimate. Like all analysis done on government programs, it's still only aimed at including cost to taxpayers. Fine, taxpayers should know that; but there is a much higher cost to individuals who have had these programs thrust into their lives now that the courts have opened the flood gates on arbitrary government intrusion. And it doesn't stop there - costs to businesses, etc. etc. etc. If the total cost isn't in the trillions, I'll eat my hat. Now add global warming and other international taxes, and you can see that they are chopping the US to bits and dividing up the pieces at an unprecedented rate.
