I'm trying to look for colleges that are conservative... or aren't incredibly leftist... to look at.
So far, the only solid conservative one I know of is Hillsdale. Are there any other colleges that are conservative?

Check out Pepperdine in Malibu, Ca.

Ken Starr teaches there as well as Ben Stein. Justice Scalia has a long history with the school as well.

Its a small school, maybe 10,000 students, and is Church of Christ.

I remember Reagan speaking there. We gave him a surfboard. I know. That's kind of gay, but for what its worth. And George Bush's ma, Barbara, spoke at my graduation. I think I scared the men in mirrored sunglasses hiding behind the floral arrangement, to her left, because I bear hugged her in the middle of pomp and circumstance.

Sorry for the name dropping, but it has a long history of conservative backing.

And, on a side-note, its probably the most beautiful school in the nation as well as the most expensive, but just say you're a black indian or a caveman recently thawed from a block of ice. They've got scholarships for shit like that. I know since I used to work in admissions. I would sit at a desk and whenever a pretty girl walked in I'd ask her if she needed a full ride.

TM's link mentioned IWU. I actually have several friends who go there.

My college is typical run of the mill liberal. Except for the students who are more moderate.

My niece is set to graduate from Grove City College this month. :D

We're very proud of her of course, and from all I know about that school, it's an excellent one. She should have a bright future ahead of her.

That's what my brother and sister's colleges are like. Feminazis who don't shave for days, naked drunk guys, and tons of pot. I'm trying not to make the same mistake they made and plan ahead. So I won't have to live through that hell.
And it's not that far away, about four more years starting in August.

I'll check it out, but I'm scared of CA. It's a liberal epidemic in there.

University of Florida seems to be fairly conservative, at least the people that come out of it.

University of Colorado?

Close. Moravian College in Bethleham, PN, and Johnson & Whales in CO.

Taylor, is that college's initials FU?

No, then it'd be Florida of University.

:moo: I thought FU was Fordham University, Geraldine Ferraro's alma mater.
