Using tragedy to advance an agenda has been a strategy for many global warming activists, and it was just a matter of time before someone found a way to tie the recent Myanmar cyclone to global warming.

Former Vice President Al Gore in an interview on NPR’s May 6 “Fresh Air” broadcast did just that. He was interviewed by “Fresh Air” host Terry Gross about the release of his book, “The Assault on Reason,” in paperback.

“And as we’re talking today, Terry, the death count in Myanmar from the cyclone that hit there yesterday has been rising from 15,000 to way on up there to much higher numbers now being speculated,” Gore said. “And last year a catastrophic storm from last fall hit Bangladesh. The year before, the strongest cyclone in more than 50 years hit China – and we’re seeing consequences that scientists have long predicted might be associated with continued global warming.”Al Gore Calls Myanmar Cyclone a 'Consequence' of Global Warming (http://www.businessandmedia.org/articles/2008/20080506160205.aspx)

That despicable piece of shit has no tact, no morals, no honor, no decency, and no intelligence. They're still finding bodies and Al the Shameless is using them for political gain.

I'll dance in the streets the day I read his obituary.

Al got popular by lying, even though a poorer liar has yet to assault the public awareness. He continues to lie, and the DBM continues to treat him as the Messiah.

Make you wanna puke.

What does 'DBM' stand for? I know that 'DMB' stands for Dave Matthews Band. (no, I am not a fan)

DBM - Drive-By Media - Rush's term for the Mainstream Media (MSM).

Rush Limbaugh's term for the sensational, scandal-seeking, and agenda-driven coverage that is typical of the national press corps in America. Limbaugh draws an analogy between the media who cover a story with a barrage of unfair cheap shots before moving on to the next flavor of the month and an inner city gang that drives by and sprays a target with gunfire and then moves on to their next target.Drive-by media (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Drive-by+media)

Reading Gore's excitment here, there can be no doubt he is into deathporn.

Blood chanting like a demon with a boner.

Ah yes. I am familiar with the term (which I find to be quite fitting), I just never saw the acronym before.

Here's what Gore is really saying: "If the Supreme Court had allowed the recounts to continue until I had a lead in Florida, I would have stopped global warming and this tragedy in Myanmar never would have happened."
