Sen. Barack Obama has harshly criticized Sen. John McCain for making an issue of an endorsement by Hamas, but the Democratic candidate said in a new interview he understands why the terrorist group supports his presidential bid.

"It's conceivable that there are those in the Arab world who say to themselves, 'This is a guy who spent some time in the Muslim world, has a middle name of Hussein and appears more worldly and has called for talks with people, and so he's not going to be engaging in the same sort of cowboy diplomacy as George Bush,'" Obama told the Atlantic magazine.

No doubt his "unyielding support for Israel's security" includes accepting support from terrorists who mission in life is to destroy Israel.

The country is going insane if they think Barack Hunan Obama is any different than Jimmy Carter. The guy is so inexperienced, so nanny state, so socially unconscious, that a mental patient would seem reasonable in comparison. Hillary is, of course, a mental patient in denial, so that explains why she hasn't swept the nomination.

Unfortunately, McCain has proven himself a demagogue who only has one conservative bone in his body. If he wanted to win this election, he would be well-advised not to amplify his agreements with Obama and Hillary on amnesty and green scares.

This is a horrible year in politics.
