Gonna forward that one to EVERY news/media/talk show in my address book...especially local. I suggest everyone do the same.

Here's the body of the email I just sent to my Congressional Delegation, national TV and radio talk shows, local talk radio, the daily newspapers in ND, friends & family.
Let's all be clear on just WHO is giving us the shaft when it comes to gas prices. Out of $3.80 / gallon, "big oil" takes 9 CENTS per gallon in profits. They explore, find, drill for, pump, transport to refineries, refine and transport to gas stations and take 9 CENTS per gallon in profit.

The federal and state governments DO NOTHING and take nearly FIVE TIMES as much "profit".

I'm a conservationist (believe in being a good steward of the environment) and I have to ask....besides the enviromental (believe in making us subservient TO the environment) groups, who's REALLY screwing the American public?
Anyone who cares to has my permission to use any/all of the above. Make sure you send the pic along with the email...

Just make sure the figures are accurate. I'm sure that in some areas, Uncle Sam's portion is a little bit bigger. Maybe that's why the guy is changing the number 2, though . . .
