Could I kill someone?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,364983,00.html

NEW YORK — A Columbia University graduate student who was raped and tortured during 19 hours of nightmarish sadism pointed out Monday the man on trial for the attack as the one who drove her to ask for death and try to kill herself.

Her gaze steady and her jaw tightly set, the 24-year-old woman pointed directly at Robert Williams in court Monday when asked whether she saw her attacker in the courtroom.

The woman identified him as she resumed testimony she had begun Friday to describe an almost unimaginable ordeal of searing pain, degradation and fear at the hands of her attacker.

I have a letter opener on my desk. If this man is indeed guilty of the demonic crimes described in the article (allowing for a fair trial and all) I could easily stab him to death with it.

Could I kill someone? Yes, I could.

That must be a traumatic thing to go threw, if I had to look at someone who has just raped me or done something horrible to me or my family, how could you look over at them with a straight face and be sort of calm about it? But since I'm Bi-Polar and I'm not blaming anyone here or saying my problems out just stating this in order with the post, I'd probably lash out in a beat down with a chair.

Absolutely, I could...especially if the woman who endured such barbarism was my wife or daughter.

The bastard would BEG me to kill him.

Welp, in my case he wouldn't have a chance to beg. Vermin belong dead and it doesn't bother me a bit to help them get that way fast.

His lawyer, Arnold Levine, agreed that the identification hurt the defendant, although Williams has offered no discernible defense.

"It's always damning when a witness identifies your client," he said. Yeah, I bet that really sucks.

Another poster boy for capital punishment advocates. But she lived. Worse, it happened in New York. He won't walk, likely, but he won't get what he truly deserves. The woman deserves a medal for her tenacity.

I take it the D.A. in this case is not another Nifong.

If he was, he would find some innocent white frat boy to prosecute.

RE:

...let's see, the attacker was black, the defendant was probably white (as evident his photo and the omission of her race anywhere in the article). So we know there was no "hate crime" here - doesn't fit Nifong's PC template.

But if Nifong got the case he would defend Williams as the victim of a white racist unwilling to slash her own eyes out.

It was certainly racist of her to force the poor fellow to rape her, rather than just surrendering civilly and treating him with respect.

I'm waiting for Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to say it's all her fault like they did to the poor woman who was raped in Central Park.

Perhaps Rev. Wright will chime in with something as well.

It's difficult. My sister was molested when she was five and I remember her locking herself in her room and crying. She was five 1990, I was born in 1993. In 1998, she still was trying to deal with the horror she went through when I was five.
She's over it now, she's 22. Rape is a horrible thing that no woman should go through. That is part of the reason why I feel nothing for rapists or murderers.

If he's found guilty, the son of a bitch should be killed in the courtroom, one round between the eyes, the end.

Scum like that forfeit the right to live.

I agree he should be killed, but I would rather see him hung with his balls in his mouth. Screw the painless execution laws. That rape wasn't so painless, was it?

Actually, he should be hung by his gonads with barbed wire and spun.

Hey, if it was good for Somoza to die like that at the hands of Lefty heroes like the Ortegas, it is good enough for this creep.

Somoza was actually, according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anastasio_Somoza_Debayle), assassinated by Argentinian leftists, not by the Ortegas or fellow Nicaraguans. OTOH, they were probably sympathetic to the same ideas and causes.

Anastasio Somoza Debayle was assassinated in Asunción, Paraguay, at the age of 54, by a commando team led by the Argentinian Enrique Gorriarán Merlo an ex-ERP (Ejército Revolucionario del Pueblo) member. This episode is described by Gorriarán Merlo himself in his book Memorias ("Memories") ISBN 950-49-1063-7. He is buried in Miami, Florida at Woodlawn Park Cemetery and Mausoleum (now Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North Park Cemetery and Mausoleum).

However, I seem to remember being told in a college history course that Somoza was murdered by Paraguayan dictator Alfredo Stroessner because Somoza was messing around with Stroessner's girlfriend.
