View Full Version : My Brother's a Truther

My brother made me sit through a documentary last week called "Terrorstorm". It was painful to watch.
This documentary was about terrorist attacks done by the United States that were later blamed on the enemy so that they could go to war with that country.
Yes, my brother believes 9/11 was an inside job.
Apparently, the Gulf of Tonkin Incident was also an inside job.
I asked this guy who probably knows everything (he has an IQ of 175) about this and the first thing he said was: "What other mental retardations does your brother have?"
He then explained what happened to me.
My family has a long history of mental disorders, but never one like this. It's insane that my brother thinks the government doesn't have better things to do than to plan top-secret terrorist attacks against the country they're serving.
I wonder if these people have a social life...

Not yet. I think he talked to a recruiter this week.

If he joins the army, he can't bitch about what the government has done because he has been a part of it, at least that's how I think the truthers would see it.

Ugh... tell him that if the government really did, some documents would be leaked. Hell, Operation Northforest was even described in a 14 page memo.

I agree though, but if all of these were for different things, I believe they would've added up to a bigger picture such as there was more than just some things you heard about in Tonkin gulf and it was a bigger operation and there were more lives at stake and it wasn't a bad thing but a more discreet and more advanced operation I hope someone knows what I mean.

Tell him that he needs to decide whether or not he wants to live in a country that he believes has the capacity to mass murder its own people. Tell him he needs to decide if he wants to continue to blatantly disrespect all of the people who have loved ones lost due to that day by continuing to buy into that crap. Tell him needs to decide whether he wants to serve a nation he does not trust.
Your brother isn't mentally ill because of his decision making on this..... he's just ****ing stupid.
CORRECTION: Operation Northwoods, not "Northforest".

He's doing it because he wants to support the men who are risking their lives.

As I said, even if it's a different reason he can't bitch, he's part of the big bad gov't!
