Another wackjob off the leash:
Former UN secretary general Kofi Anna on Tuesday called for 'climate justice', saying that it was polluters who should pay for the effects of climate change, and not the poorest and most vulnerable.
He said funding should be made available to help disadvantaged communities adapt to the effects of global warming as he urged for the international community to focus on adaptation measures.

In other words:
Work hard, make the most of yourself and your country, just to support the illiterate village people of the third world so they don't have to work hard.

He should join Jimmy Carter and Mikhail Gorbachov in the washed-up has-been loser politicians' club.

The only help we can give the Third World that will really help would be roads, bridges, smallish dams as power plants, and scholarships in medicine and engineering. The roads and bridges and dams (infrastructure) would simplify their lives without socializing them, and the scholarships would develop the human capital, which is the only way to help long term.
Anything else is just giving them a fish and feeding them for a day.

Nothing but double-talk. The worst polluters (with FEW exceptions...China comes to mind) ARE the poorest countries!! Can't have it both ways, Coughing Anus...either the polluter pay or they don't. Choose.
Besides, humanity is having little, if any, effect on climate. The ONLY consistent thing about the climate is that it is in constant flux!!! Farkin' moron...

Actually, I'm all for "climate justice." The Third World is just using up oxygen and hoarding raw materials to no purpose. Without the West, and particularly without America, the Third World is nothing, nada, zippo.
It's time for the Third World to bow down and worship America, which can demonstrate its magnanimity by refusing to be worshipped and insisting instead that the Third World get to work on getting rich.
