Let me get this straight...

Lorena Bobbitt severs her old man's "little buddy" with a serrated steak knife from her kitchen. Then she gets in the car, takes the little one eyed bugger for a moon-light drive, eventually tossing it out the window where it skids and bounces across the road, tumbling across the dirt to eventually come to rest in a neighbors front lawn. Then later, the police go find it, retrieve it, throw it in a little baggie full of ice and take it to the hospital where it's former owner is now eagerly awaiting it's arrival. Then the doctors hose it down, grab a needle and thread, and sew it back onto John-Boy, where he now has at least 75% usage of John Jr. to this day.

Yet a SURGEON who is using sterilized medical tools, and is IN A HOSPITAL when he "accidentally" amputates a man's "best friend" is NOT able to reattach said salami in time to get even partial usage, and instead, hacks off a chunk of muscle from the dudes arm and hangs what amounts to nothing more than a "decorative dingle" from the poor guy... and all he gets is 795 grand?
