Don't laugh, Rhino. During the Greyhound bus strike, my brother's and my bags wound up in Portugal. 2 months later, we got them back. I still don't know to this day how it happened.

The worst I have heard was when one of my sisters came to VA from CA and her bags ended up in Paris. At least she got them back in 24 hours.
