Sydney is in the hospital

My nightime art school is all age. One of the students, Sydney, is 14. She wants to be an architect. A couple of weeks ago, Sydney was in school when a girl and two guys from public school showed up and tried to convince Sydney to leave class and go smoke dope and have sex with them. Sydney refused she likes her class. It's helping her prepare for her future. After getting mad, calling Sydney a loser, telling her that she is no good, has no friends and everyone hates her because she's a freak and a wierdo, the adults in the class along with the master artist ejected the trio.

The three caught Sydney in the bathroom at school and beat her quite badly. Badly enough to put her in the hospital with some pretty severe injuries. There was no penalty to the attackers.

Out here in Lubbock, Texas, if someone gets the hell beat out of them and end up in the hospital, the police at least investigate.

Kathy, have you ever given serious consideration to getting out of that hell hole you live in?

Ever thought about trying a different part of the country?

Ever thought about a part of the country where dopers don't get a free pass when they beat someone to a bloody pulp?

No there's no investigation. They don't need witnesses. The facts are pretty cut and dried without a dispute. A girl and two boys followed Sydney into the co-ed restroom (they are all co-ed) and beat her up. There is no penalty to the attackers because the authorities do not want the situation to blow up into another school wide riot that has happened in other schools. The three attackers are hispanic. Sydney is Chinese. It is not a hate crime because it wasn't motivated by race. It was motivated by Sydney separating herself from the other students. An isolated incident, unless the attackers are arrested. Then, the attackers will be racially profiled as being hispanic. The entire school will rise up in protest of this racisim. Sydney will return to another school. Her parents are putting her in private school where she should have been all along.

Do I think about getting out of this hell hole? Only every day. If I had the money, I'd be gone now. When the business is salable, and I have reached the magic retirement age, then I can go. Right now, I'm at that awkward age. Too old to find a job, too young to retire. Too broke and too tired to start building a business all over again from square one.

The ninnies who run the school are afraid of ethnic backlash, and that's all any ninny needs to slither unnoticed as much as possible. The parents need to file charges against the school itself. And follow up with threat of a lawsuit to make the monkeys dance.

I hope they do, but with the judicial system around here so sympathetic to attackers, they might not have that much of a chance. That would be the same judicial system that I left in disgust.

I am simply horrified. This is worse than the maffia.

I wish this poor girl's parents had the guts to sue the shirt off the spineless back of the school "administrators." And make a lot of noise while they're at it. The hell with riots. If there was any discipline in that poor caricature of a school, there would be no beatings or riots or any other nonsense of the sort.

But of course, nobody has the balls to stand up to the little darlings. Especially if they are not white.

This is revolting. Kathy, I will pray for that poor girl's recovery.

I live in Southern California which is the center of the razaists. It would not surprise me if these three little thugs got on the honor role for this. After all they were trying to be inclusive!

Anyone who has a kid in public school here either is stupid, crazy, or is raising a thug themselves. She'll be better off in private school. I was there when these three raided our school. They should have been arrested then and there for causing a disturbance.

Sydney is home now. Still not able to come back to class but we'll all be waiting for her when she returns. Might be a couple of more weeks. She's transferring to a pivate school.

The odd thing is. I don't like kids, certainly don't like teenagers, but I liked Sydney. She is a smart girl who knows what she wants and will get it.

The attackers accused Sydney of saying racial slurs and that's why they had a right to beat her up. I believe that like I believe the sun rises in the south. She's so single minded, I doubt if a racial slur every crossed this little Chinese girl's mind.
