House Speaker Pelosi calls Bush 'a total failure'

WASHINGTON — President Bush has been a "total failure" in everything from the economy to the war to energy policy, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday. In an interview on CNN, the California Democrat was asked to respond to video of the president criticizing the Democratic-led Congress for heading into the final 26 days of the legislative session without having passed a single government spending bill.

Pelosi shot back in unusually personal terms.

"You know, God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject," Pelosi replied. She then tsk-tsked Bush for "challenging Congress when we are trying to sweep up after his mess over and over and over again."

White House spokeswoman Dana Perino defended Bush.

"What the president said is a fact — this is the longest a Congress has gone in 20 years without passing a single spending bill, so it's clear that the speaker is feeling some frustration at their inability to do so."

I'm not sure I'd consider a Congress that has failed to pass a spending bill a problem.

President Bush is NOT a total failure. He did with ONE SENTENCE what you, Senator Pelosi, have failed to do in 2 YEARS...by lifting the Executive ban on off-shore drilling, he affected crude oil prices. They FELL by $20/barrel this week AFTER his announcement.

Now, get your botoxed crack movin', slap Harry upside his head, and lift the Congressional ban on drilling off-shore and in ANWR. I'll put money on crude oil prices being below $80/barrel by the end of August...which, via cause/effect, should get gas prices between $2.25 & $2.50 a gallon.

Pelosi is like one of those old ladies with permanent makeup tattoed into her skin who also wears a bright orange wig made of horsehair. I wish she was on Celebrity Deathmatch. After a dozen punches to Pelosi's face, your knuckles dripping with makeup, she'd still be unfazed since there'd be at least 4 more inches of thick Revlon pancake between the outer coating of her head and her brain, which also has a ton of makeup over it. She probably shits tubes of bright red lipstick right outta her turd cutter so that she can always look like a pro there too.

During my break at work today, and out of sheer tedium, I was leafing through one of those idiotic women's magazines that are always laying about our breakroom. I can't remember which. Elle, or something. Anyway, I stumbled upon the following article: "Nancy Pelosi Speaks her Mind."

Putting aside the optimism about Stretch Pelosi having a mind at all to speak of, I could immediately tell what kind of repetitive nonsense the Speaker would be speaking of: Bush is an idiot; Bush is a failure; White Men Hate Women; It's Sexism Not to Give Women Absolute Power, Waaah, waaah, waaah!, etc., etc.

Want to bet how fast it took me to put the magazine down? ;)
