Barack Obama wants to speak at the Brandenburg Gate. He figures it would be a nice backdrop. The supporting cast -- a cheering audience and a few fainting frauleins -- would be a picturesque way to bolster his foreign policy credentials.

Who Does He Think He Is?
He thinks he's kind of a big deal.

It is a subject upon which he can dilate effortlessly. In his victory speech upon winning the nomination, Obama declared it a great turning point in history -- "generations from now we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment" -- when, among other wonders, "the rise of the oceans began to slow." As economist Irwin Stelzer noted in his London Daily Telegraph column, "Moses made the waters recede, but he had help." Obama apparently works alone.
The politics of Poseidon.
After all, in the words of his own slogan, "we are the ones we've been waiting for," which, translating the royal "we," means: "I am the one we've been waiting for." Amazingly, he had a quasi-presidential seal with its own Latin inscription affixed to his podium, until general ridicule -- it was pointed out that he was not yet president -- induced him to take it down

Update:
No Brandenburg Gate venue for Obama's Berlin address
The parallels between Barack Obama and John F. Kennedy apparently are getting off-track in Germany.
German reports say that Obama will speak Thursday at Berlin’s Victory Column rather than at the city’s historic Brandenburg Gate a mile-and-a-half away. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, among others, objected to the Democratic presidential candidate using the site for what is essentially a campaign event.

Brandenberg Gate was Obama's last choice.
After he found out that the Colisseum in Rome is in bad repair so he couldn't ride in there on a chariot (pulled by horses of different races ... er ... colors), and the Pope was unwilling to crown him Holy Roman Emperor (next year, maybe), he had to settle for Berlin, undeservedly following in the footsteps of Reagan and Kennedy, as Krauthammer rightly points out.
The only thing Berlin offers is a throng of socialist lemmings all starry-eyed at the approach of a fellow socialist.
He will say nothing interesting or inspiring (quite the opposite, no doubt) that will nevertheless be glossed over by his adoring media syncophants who will report on his historic speech as if he was Moses coming down from Sinai.

What a shame the Russians wouldn't let him preach orate from atop the largest onion-domed church in Red Square. I think they were afraid of the crowd carrying Blammo on their shoulders all the way up to Putin's house and installing his ass there.
Mugabe refused pointblank, the punk niggra.

Who does Barack think he is?
The same person Hillary & Blow Job Bill Clinton, Stretch Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the rest of the demunist clowns think they are: the Great Uniter, America's Salvation, God's Gift to the Poor, etc., etc., etc.
Here's what they really are: a bunch of megalomaniacal elitists, who believe power is their Divine Right. That's what they are.

What they really are, are a buncha jokers straight out of Pulp Fiction, looking to replace Wallace.

If this schmuck were to attain the Oval Office, I can imagine use of the N word will escalate manifold.

Are you kidding? If this schmuck takes the country hostage, blacks - especially those with a chip on their shoulder - will be more than ever, protected species.
They will be completely free to "get back at Whitey" with total impunity. Sort of like the TonTon Macoutes, Papa Doc's secret police, in Haiti.
