Well here it is. A monster fight not hyped or seen since Godzilla took on King Kong!

Synopsis:
Freddy is forgotten, he can't hurt anyone if no one believes in him. So he finds one who can do his dirty work for him to make it look like there is a killer back on Elm street. This is where Jason comes in. Freddy(appearing as Jason's mother) convinces Jason to go to Elm street and kill.

Jason end up taking the souls away from freddy. basically his plan doesn;t work and backfires on him. He challenges Jason and the two duke it out until they knock each other out.

The survivors bring Jason back to crystal lake and while one pulls Freddy out of her dream so they can fight.

Jason gets the last hit and both sink into Crystal Lake.

I thought this movie was stupid but I liked it. There were some funny moments(dark humor)

Many disturbing scenes, very bloody, and gruesome.

I give it four Freddy Claws out of five.

Sounds like a blast!

A gory monster bash just for the sake of it. Put yer brain in neutral, and enjoy the show. Used to live for those kind of flicks 25-30 years ago.

I remember the first time I saw "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", the absolute pinnacle of gore fests. Although movies nowadays would make that look like a disney movie.

I always liked Scarface, where with a chainsaw they cut off the guy's arms and legs.

Even if you somehow lived thru it, life wouldn't be a lotta fun for an armless, legless guy. Or gal, for that matter.

Or dog, or cat. Or ferret or monkey or rhino... http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I know this is http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/offtopic1.gif

but the movie "Starship Trooper" would have been a helluva lot better if they'd have left out about two/thirds of the gore. Man, I had to duck flying body parts just to get the jist of the show. Casper Van Diem played a great part, but with all the hack and slashing...it got old quick. And this is from a guy who loves slasher flicks.

ps: I love the sailor smiley. http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sailor.gif

I like how he kept the gore in Starship Troopers. Like a real war where it is ugly, even though the soldiers saw the ugliness of the war, they stayed in it to defeat the enemy. Truly a noble act.

"True courage is acting, even when you are afraid."

I hate fight scenes with no blood or war movies where no one dies.

Even in fantasy, you need a little realism.
