We are not being sent to the back of the bus we are being kicked off.

Carolyn Hileman

As if it isn’t bad enough that our presidential candidates are dueling each other on how many out of country trips they can take at our expense, using that precious fuel that there isn’t enough of so We must conserve then we have MSNBC, on Friday running a story about how those poor illegal immigrants either don’t know about the taxpayer funded benefits they could receive or they are just to afraid to claim them. Just about fits doesn’t it the taxpayer is told take on another job, cut down, don’t drive as much, don’t eat out as much, drive a smaller car but those who are almost elected are jetting around to any country they want and MSNBC is airing a laundry list of things you are eligible for if you made it across the border without getting caught.

Now you have to understand these are things the taxpayer cannot have, only fund. Take for instance food stamps if the family of illegal immigrants has at least one legal person in their home they qualify for food stamps. The taxpayer who has fallen on hard times cannot get food stamps and you are going to love this part because they have a job, now if they have been laid off they only have to wait thirty to sixty days depending on how much their last paycheck was. And no it really does not matter if all of that check went to pay your bills either, but if you are in this country illegally and have just one legal person living in your home you can get food stamps.

MSNBC acts as though it is a crime that these people do not know they can further suck our economy dry, they talk about how these poor people are having trouble making ends meet, well welcome to the club. How many American citizens are feeling the pinch and all we are told is suck it you’re an American, but not so the illegal immigrants whom we hear about coming here and working, doing the jobs we Americans will not do. You know the ones they keep saying are the backbone of America, the boon to our economy, the rock of our existence, that never take benefits and pay taxes, they are told the economy is slow so here is what you can get just for crossing the border and not getting caught.

They even go on to tell them that in some states such as Kansas they can get tuition assistance and even reduced rates, and in some states they can get drivers license, and workers comp., Hello! Would some one please tell me what country we are in because at this point I am just not sure anymore, this supposed article is nothing more than a thinly veiled PSA broadcast by both MSNBC and Telemundo. If this does not make you angry I really do not know what will, MSNBC is telling criminals what taxpayer benefits they qualify for, if they were telling people as a whole what resources were available to them if they were having trouble making ends meet because of the gas prices I would not have a problem, but they are telling people who snuck in our country in the dead of night that not only is it OK that they did that we are going to draw you a map to the nearest food stamp office.

This is outrageous, how many more slaps to the face do we have to endure from these so – called American media outlets? How many more times will we suffer through our presidential candidates telling us we need to cut back on fuel just before they board a jet? How much longer will we allow people like Nancy Pelosi and her democrat minions act as though we are the stupid ones because we want to drill in our own country? When you have to tell your kids I am sorry we have to cut back on the snacks because we just cannot afford it right now and the media is telling illegal immigrants hey need some help just ask, something is wrong. When you have to tell your kids that you can’t go to the lake because you have to cut back and then watch as Obama takes his dare from McCain to go to Iraq, something is wrong.

Something is wrong in this country, very, very wrong. The American people are suffering, American companies are suffering, when the farmers can no longer afford diesel for their equipment and trucking companies close down because they cannot afford the fuel what on earth will they tell us then? Where will we get our food? We are in serious trouble here and all our candidates can think about is what trip they will charge to the taxpayers this week and MSNBC is detailing what benefits are available for criminals, congress thinks we’re stupid and we just keep paying those taxes. We are not being sent to the back of the bus we are being kicked off.

Geez, politicians and the news media are arrogant and out of touch with the American people. Whodathunkit?

If fuel prices go up much more, there will be a massive recession, maybe even a depression. Will we be stupid enough to return the very short-sighted politicians to Congress (and our legislatures) who set up this mess? Probably.

From Carolyn Hileman's link:
Most illegal immigrants have no idea that a limited number of benefit programs don’t exclude them, said Betsabé Pabón, director of the Food Stamps Program at the nonprofit Sunnyside Community Services in the New York borough of Queens.

By law, illegal immigrants are ineligible for food stamps — unless there is at least one U.S. citizen in their household, which describes all U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants.Sneak in, drop a kid, get food stamps. Ain't America wonderful?

Keep it up, liberal sleazebuckets. Your time of reckoning is approaching fast and it will hit you harder than your ass hitting the pavement outside the employment office. This includes assholes from Barack Osama on down.

Even a mouse will attack you when he is cornered into a dead end. No lie and no fail. Remember that, you tax-raising assholes who may come into office. Remember you have been promised that. No threats at all. I have a note from the Founding Fathers that says it is my duty to topple you SOBs if you try to enslave me.

You're more optimistic than I, Counselor. :sulk:

I think that demunists - with HUSSEIN at the head - will just go on repeating that gas prices are high because of "Bush and Cheney, and their friends in the oil business."

And since Joe Six-Pack is too stupid and too lazy to do any research, he'll just accept that lie, as usual.

No the people know, over 1.3 million have called them already and they are now saying that if we let them go after the speculators they will lift the ban they know this is hurting them even six pack joe knows that if we drill here we keep the money and the jobs here were it belongs. I'll put my money on the people any time... Revolution it is coming

People like Joe Six-Pack are exactly the ones who will attain the security of a free State from enslavement by the Democrap assholes and their welfare cockroaches. Do you think the people on welfare, the ones who have had their asses wiped for three or four generations, are going to know what they will be up against?

What Wolfie said. When the shit finally does hit the fan, they gonna lose bigtime and we gonna WIN bigtime. The key is, what then? How do we get people in office who'll run the country the way it's supposed to be run, according to the Constitution?

Just as in Iraq, the prollem won't be winning the war, but winning the peace.

The answer is in front of us. People like Taylor1, TeenageRepublican, PrezLeefun, et al, those young people who have shown an interest in the Constitutional running of America.

We could start by putting someone like Jeff Sessions in the Oval Office that man was standing up for us when we were still just whining to each other about illegal immigration he and Duncan Hunter are two unsung heroes who deserve to lead this nation

You can't. Most politicians have no idea how the hell to govern according to the Constitution (all politicians appear to be about conforming to 'changing times,' as opposed to unflinchingly clinging to unchanging transcendent principles, the former being merely a method of manipulating people into abandoning the latter) nor do the sheeple have any desire to live by the principles which produced it (meaning, even if you did find one who would do such, the populace is so corrupted they'd never support him). So this talk of an impending revolution is not something about which I am eager at all (as a revolution won't just magically solve these problems).

If a revolution overthrew the government tomorrow, we have a completely ideologically splintered populace, with no transcendent, universal standard for principles, that would probably rip itself apart rather quickly (leaving us vulnerable to all manner of foreign depredation).

As screwed up as things are now, I'll take it any day over an ill-conceived, misguided revolution, which would produce only anarchy, ultimately followed by oligarchy or despotism.

Such a revolution would be futile without a re-education of the populace in the philosophy which produced our government and laws. Children everywhere would have to be taught the Bible. Blackstone's Commentaries would have to be issued to all law students. Etc., etc.

I see people, or parties, saying they seek to restore America to it's original Constitutional principles all the time. They're virtually always, after looking further, disingenuous (or deluded).

So much talk, but how many people actually support enforcing our obscenity laws? The founders understood that licentiousness is the enemy of freedom (and they punished, under the very same Constitution now perverted to sanction, things I routinely see many people now fully supporting, or at least accepting, even by some here).

Many who talk of restoring America to it's original Constitutional principles don't even have the balls to hurt the feelings of depraved sissies (whom their founders harshly punished). Yet I am to believe they have the austerity required to banish, fight, and kill the hordes of socialists, communists, and pagans orchestrating our ruin in order to save the nation?

Personally, I don't believe this revolution will ever happen. And even if it does, I believe given the current state of social and political degradation, it's only outcome would be the complete destruction of America.

Even if it did occur, and we were victorious, what then? We're just going to allow the pinkos, sexual deviants, pornographers, etc., to remain here and continue their subterfuge unchecked? The country would simply be subverted again to the same degree in a matter of weeks.

This is not specifically to you DF, or anyone in particular, but just my thoughts in general.

I suppose you have more faith than me in your fellow man. I hear so much talk of going back to the Constitution from politicians. It's usually nothing more than a hallow utterance, lacking substance, much like "comprehensive immigration reform." So many talk about fixing the problem, but I've yet to see a one person in charge close the borders, and send these criminals packing. And if someone was actually sincere about doing so, a populace so corrupted, so dependent on big government, would never support the person promising to put Bibles in every school, end their easy access porn, and rip them from the government teat.

What does porn, obscenity laws, and sex have to do with this? It has nothing to do with those things. It's talking about how the general taxpayer is being treated like crap and the fact that the media is ignoring it.
Great article, Hileman.

Thanks Teen, and Conservative hero, love the Batman avatar. You make some very interesting points but what you do not see on a daily basis like I do is the anger building in people to the point I honestly believe the USA is a ticking time bomb about to explode, it came very close when the amnesty bill kept coming back to life like a really bad horror movie which is why I and others started giving out the free numbers for the senate so that the people could vent safely, I have been doing that with the gas crises as well but the anger is combined with a desperation that the Americans of today have never felt before and fueled by a general disregard for the taxpayer. When over 1.3 million tax paying Americans call and demand that we drill here and they turn a deaf ear and then you see and hear our media selling us out daily you get to the point that you feel there is no other way. We are trying to settle this without a revolution but even I would be game at this point simply because after a while you get tired of being kicked and you start to fight back, the question is which kick will it be???
