Wagner’s music is actually better than it sounds, Mark Twain liked to joke. The same can’t be said for Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign speech Thursday in Berlin.

Such carelessness with easily verifiable facts is troubling, given Obama’s 300-person (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/18/us/politics/18advisers.html?_r=1&oref=slogin) mini-State Department and all the former senior Clinton Administration officials (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0708/11977.html) along for the ride. Does no one check facts? Or are staff too awed by the One to tell him what he doesn’t want to hear? Or do they all think the rest of us are too dumb or awestruck to notice?
A combination of all, plus the fact that the kind of people Obama appeals to are more often than not too stupid and ignorant and sound-bite-addicted to even consider the posibility that there are facts to be checked.
Facts? What facts? "Obama said so, therefore, it must be true."
That kind of thing.

Which is why I have long equated liberals to mold in a leaky basement. You either get a big-ass bottle of Clorox in there to wipe it out or the mold will keep growing and eventually be toxic.
Though OBurkha Drones are more like vaginal warts. They never go away.

From the article:
this speech was an unforced error, another judgment call that Obama got wrong. No one forced him to give the first-ever presidential campaign speech before a mass audience of non-voters overseas. And he can’t say he wasn’t warned, considering these pointed remarks from the German chancellor’s spokesman:
It’s unusual to hold election rallies abroad. No German candidate for high office would even think of using the National Mall (in Washington) or Red Square in Moscow for a rally because it would not be seen as appropriate.
In case the freshman Illinois senator missed the point, the chancellor herself later added: “If the candidate — or any other candidate is elected, then (he) is welcome to speak as president before the Brandenburg Gate.” Even some American reporters, heretofore Obama’s biggest boosters, raised the same concerns about a premature victory lap, as this little colloquy in Politico shows:
“It is not going to be a political speech,” said a senior foreign policy adviser, who spoke to reporters on background. “When the president of the United States goes and gives a speech, it is not a political speech or a political rally.
“But he is not president of the United States,” a reporter reminded the adviser.

The truth is that, like Al Gore and Dan Quayle, Obama isn't ready for prime time and never will be. He will always make ridiculous errors, stupid mistakes, idiotic fumbles, because his opinion of his abilities doesn't match his pathetic abilities. He's like the ant shoving his member into the cow elephant, who at that instant gets conked on the head by a falling cocoanut and trumpets her displeasure. "Suffer, bitch!" says the ant.
That's Obama.

Forget the adviser. It's HUSSEIN who has to be constantly remined that 2008 elections have yet to happen. Heck, he has to be reminded that DNC convention has yet to happen. He's not even the official candidate yet.
Bastard is quantum leaping the gun, by jove.

Indeed. The house has not yet fallen, the stake has not yet been plunged through the heart, the head has not been yet been cut off and filled with holy wafers and the silver bullet has not been shot. The Bride of Satan is very much alive, well and planning.
The silence by Bonnie and Clod over the last 6 weeks speaks volumes.
