(07-25) 17:42 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- A federal judge today dismissed a lawsuit by conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage against a Muslim-rights group that reprinted his attacks against Islam and called for an advertising boycott.<br>
Savage, who has about 8 million listeners a week on 400 stations for his syndicated "Savage Nation" program, sued the Council on American-Islamic Relations in December for copyright infringement.<br>
The organization had posted four minutes of excerpts from an Oct. 29 broadcast in which he called the Quran a "hateful little book" and a "document of slavery." He said Muslims were "screaming for the blood of Christians or Jews or anyone they hate."

This once again proves that Michael Savage is insane and that he's pretty half-assed for a Christian.

I thought Wiener/Savage was a Jew.

It does?

Not sure I follow your logic, TR.

Because if the act of publicly denouncing the true nature of that demonically inspired text, 'the koran', and the cult of islam is a sign of insanity, then I guess I should probably have myself committed as well.

They don't broadcast Michael Savage here, and I haven't heard much of his show, but on this subject I believe he's spot on. CAIR IS a front for terrorist organizations and a tool that they have long used to undermine our society from within using our own legal system. The fact that a federal judge (albeit most likely raised to the bench from the corrupt SF political cesspool) sides with them does not diminish the fact that they Are an undeclared enemy of the United States of America and the Constitution.

If that sounds reactionary, so be it. It's high time we stop pussyfooting around with these people and start standing up to the very real threat they pose to our future.

I hope Savage ultimately wins his lawsuit.

It's just odd that Savage decided to do a lawsuit when the Bible condemns it...
Matthew 5: 25; NIV
25 <WOJ>“When you are on the way to court with your adversary, settle your differences quickly. Otherwise, your accuser may hand you over to the judge, who will hand you over to an officer, and you will be thrown into prison.</WOJ>

That verse refers to Christians suing Christians.

Paul spoke out against Christians suing Christians in secular courts. (1 Corinthians 6:1-10 (http://www.christian-attorney.net/1_corinthians_6.html)) In these cases, disputes Should be settled by wise Christians, out of the public eye.

But in his letter to the Romans (Romans 13:1-7 (http://www.christian-attorney.net/romans_13.html)) he points out that secular courts are ordained by God. For that reason, there is no prohibition for a Christian to sue a non-Christian in a secular court.

That sounds like a double standard, and it is; but only in this regard: Because Christians who are at odds with each other are admonished to settle disputes between each other, demonstrating that spiritual concerns rank higher than worldly ones and not giving a bad witness to non-believers.

In any case, Savage is not suing CAIR for purely personal gain. He is doing so in order to protect his rights, since HE is the one who is under attack by this malignant organization. The Apostle Paul himself used Roman Law and the Roman legal system to preserve his rights as a citizen several times as mentioned in Acts 16:37-38, 22:25-29, and 25:10-12.

There's a clear precedent there for appropriate legal behavior.

Well, he's still a pretty half-assed Christian, in my opinion. I've listened to him and I just don't see how calling callers "Jew-hating Nazi scumbags," is Christian.

What would you call David Duke? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? Jimmy Carter?

Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade.

There is no doubt in the mind of anyone with one eye and half sense that CAIR is a FRONT FOR TERRORISTS.

Gallows should be erected at Ground Zero and that fat bastard, Ibrahim Hooper should be hung by the neck until he's dead.

IBRAHIM HOOPER IS A MUSLIM TERRORIST.

Savage is broadcast here. He's wild, but I like him. And his main theme, "the enemy within," is right on the mark.

[The judge] also said Savage offered no evidence that copying and posting the excepts affected his commercial market for the Oct. 29 broadcast. Savage is not half-assed anything. He's a purebred braying imbecile. If he were really smart, he would take advantage of the fact that Mooselems don't like him and put that in his resume, his introduction, frontispiece, codpiece.

"Hated by Moslems everywhere!" That should move a few more books off rack, no?

As I understand it, the Weinerman is upset because the Mooselems are trying to convince radio stations not to carry his programs and organize boycotts. Do I have it right? If so, how is that illegal? Isn't that a right just as protected as keeping him ON the air?

Don't get me wrong. I believe CAIR is a front for fanatics, but I didn't need that blowhard to tell me that.

But I've always admitted to being a racist.. See? It's right here in my intro post (http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/showthread.php?t=27488) from way back when.. ;)

Er, in the link in the intro, anyway. Yeah. Gotta click that. Bear in mind, one or two things have changed over the years. Like I'm more curmudgeonly now. (grumble)
