Given that part of the humor derives from the actors’ resemblance (or lack thereof) to the people they’re playing, this is shaping up to be the movie equivalent of one of those nutroots Bush/chimp photo comparisons.

My, my. There is just NO cure for Bush Derangement Syndrome. I fail to see the humor. I just see more anti-America/anti-conservative propaganda.

Hey, liberals! Bush is over. Do you understand that, farking morons? His presidency is OVER.

It's time for YOU bastards to get over it, too!! :flame:

I fail to see the humor.

Sis, I just think it's so funny that they are SO obsessed with Pres. Bush. As was mentioned at the HotAir link, the desire was so great by so many hollyweirdians to participate in this trashing, they cast Barbra Streisand's step son as Bush and Cromwell as Bush Sr. NONE of the cast resembles the characters they are portraying, and the clip is just so farcical in it's tone ... makes me think of a really bad SNL or MadTV skit, only they MEAN it to play that way, :biglaugh:

Is someone honestly going to tell me there was not/is not an obsession by the other side when it comes to Clinton? I'm sue there would have been a movie if there were more conservatives in Hollywood.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda ... there are more than enough conservatives hun, we just don't play the games liberals play.

And I'm sure I would fly if I had wings.

Trev, it's true that conservatives do not like Clinton. I find him particularly repulsive.

But you cannot - simply cannot - compare the rage and degree of hatred that liberals feel for Bush with conservative's dislike for Blow Job Bill. Not without trashing your credibility.

BJ Bill perjured himself under oath, used the Oval Office as his personal brothel, sold national security to China for campaing contribution, and pardoned a score of criminals because they were his friends. Oh, and did I mention that, in his anxiety to distract people from the Lewinsky Affair, he bombed an aspirin factory, killing the nightwatch? There is nothing that conservatives accuse him of that is not absolutely true.

All Bush did was defeat Al Gore, and go to war with Iraq based on information THAT EVERY DEMOCRAT IN CONGRESS AGREED WAS GENUINE. And that enraged the MoveOns, the Daily Kos, and the Huffington crowd - all hysterical peaceniks - and that's why they hate Bush with irrational and vicious intensity. And they will continue to hate him till Kingdom come.

I know you will not accept what I said above, Trev. Ture to form, you liberals believe that as long as you deny something happened, it actually never happened. You are funny that way. Nevertheless, deep down inside you know I'm right.

Maybe that's what really gets your back up. ;)

And you just watch. If McCain defeats Obama in these elections, he will be even more hated than Bush. Liberals are so desperate to win - and still smarting from 2000 - that if they are once again thwarted, McCain's life is not going to be worth a cent. They are going to start making up McCain's "crimes against humanity" before he ends his innaguration speech.

You want to bet? Or are you too afraid of losing?

Well, I'm glad you find it funny, dear. Maybe you're right. Maybe we should all just take this as one more proof of liberals' mental instability. But I am always freshly astounded at the depth and degree of liberals' hatred for Bush. It makes Hitler's hatred for Jews look like brotherly love, by comparison.

Sheesh. Give it a rest already.

Ah yes, and that is what everyone else believes all he has done? I'm so sick of this my side is 100% clean and yours is 100% evil garbage. There is a negative obsession against Bush because many believe he/his administration has done terrible things, and I personally think it is a lie to say we know for a fact one way or the other if every single accusation is invalid or not. If some of these accusations were definitively proven true, then I believe they would certainly be worse than a lot of the confirmed Clinton indiscretions.

Anyway, since all liberals or democrats have some sort of obsession with Bush, please show me all of my posts on him...... I honestly think I rarely talk about him on here. And for the record yet again, I consider myself an Independent. Just wanted to state that because you labeled me.

Why? You just said you're an independent. So you have no sides. So why should you be offended if I say "yours is 100% evil garbage" seeing as how I could hardly be referring to you since you have no sides.

And yes, I think liberal side is 100% evil. There. Now go ahead and have a tantrum over that. Won't change what I think of liberal side.

There is a negative obsession against Bush because many believe he/his administration has done terrible things, and I personally think it is a lie to say we know for a fact one way or the other if every single accusation is invalid or not.

So what are you bitching about? YOU were the one who brought Blow Job Bill up, I didn't. And why should my opinion of BJ Clinton offend you? You're an independent, aren't you? You're not a liberal.

If some of these accusations were definitively proven true, then I believe they would certainly be worse than a lot of the confirmed Clinton indiscretions.

Kid, some of the accusations WERE actually proven true. Sorry if that grieves you.

So I labeled you. Sue me.

I labeled you because only Clinton-worshipping liberals get a bellyache when one dares criticize good ole Blow Job Bill.

You're an independent. So why should you care what I say about that sexually incontinent bastard?

And please - please? - don't give me any self-righteous crap about "the truth," and "fairness," and "justice," do me the last favor.

And I also just wanted to add that I am not saying this because I have some sort of fondness for Clinton. On top of the sleaziness, all he did was take credit for things that he originally opposed and that the Republican congress forced him to do,

I think you need to reread what I wrote.

And where exactly in this thread was I caring about what you said? I brought up double standards. I didn't say anything about how you shouldn't be mean to Clinton.

But anyway, the whole you're 100% evil and double standard partisan hacksmanship crap is the reason many have become fed up with politics and politicians. I know I used to find debating with people fun and exciting and tried to participate in discussions whenever I could, but now I just don't care too much anymore. Now I mostly talk about movies and music.

My double standards, or liberals' double standards? Or both?

But anyway, the whole you're 100% evil and double standard partisan hacksmanship crap is the reason many have become fed up with politics and politicians.

Aww. We hurt your tender sensitivities. Well, that's too bad, innit.

You do that, dear. You're wise enough to stay out of the kitchen because you can't stand the heat ... sometimes, anyway.

Has nothing to do with not being able to stand heat. It is just about recognizing futility ... sometimes, anyway.

I hate to admit it, Trev, but I like you. Only sometimes, you understand.
