Check and see if your area has a vet running, mine does.

Mine does (U.S. House District 22, Texas), but Pete Olson (http://olsonforcongress.com/), the Republican nominee and Navy vet, isn't listed there.

Hmm, I guess you've gotta submit it on their site or something.

Be ye warned...

Just because someone is a veteran of military service does not guarantee that he is a candidate worthy of our support... I noticed that the first four on the list are running as Democrats, and if you look at their websites, you quickly realize that they are just mouthpieces for Pelosi and Reid... And among the Pubs you don't know which are actual Conservatives and which are RINOs...

We all appreciate their military service to our country, and I suspect they all served honorably, but once they leave the service and throw their hats in the political ring they are now civilians and you damned well better scrutenize their platforms and policies...

The Dems are playing a VERY SMART game here - They are recruiting liberals who are combat VETS to run for Congress in order to neutralize the Pubs traditional claim on military veteran status among their candidates... In essence, the Dems are infiltrating their own vets into the mix in order to win the votes of those shallow minds who don't look beyond the uniform...

Remember, John Murtha is a veteran too... We see what a hot recommendation that turned out to be...:brow:

Exactly right. The wrapper might say "U.S. Army" but the contents might be a huge turd!!! :smirky:

Heaven knows we have had our share of those :rotflmbo:And the Lefties promise more to come if that link is to be believed... :smirky:

It appears to me that the Dems are embarking on a blitz campaign of trying to reclaim the "veteran" designation for themselves - or at least neutralize the Pubs' traditional claim on that advantage...
