ABC: McCain “now seriously considering” Lieberman for VP (http://hotair.com/archives/2008/07/30/abc-mccain-now-seriously-considering-lieberman-for-vp/)
He’s going to transform the party — by turning us into hawkish Democrats? Nuance.
< snip , snip >
Good news for that unpredictable five percent in the middle he needs to win, not so good for, er, everyone else in America. Are evangelicals going to vote for a guy who scored 100% on NARAL’s annual report card? Are Reagan conservatives jittery about McCain’s maverickiness going to feel reassured knowing Al Gore’s choice for VP is waiting in the wings?

This VP speculation has become great family entertainment in this election... The Dems are anxious to see if Obama can choose someone to heal the rift with the offended Hilary-ites, and the Pubs are anxious to see if McCain's choice can win him those holdouts on both the Left and the right...
McCain's choice, I believe, is the more interesting one since it could go either way... It will demonstrate whether McCain believes he will have more success luring in the angry leftists or the anrgy rightwingers... It will be a thermometer as to who he values the most in this election...

Last week there was a boomlet for for the RINO, Tim Pawlenty. Now there's a boomlet for the liberal, Joe Lieberman. Who's next? Hillary?
I think that the liberal media has a hand in these boomlets because their candidate, B. Hussein Obama, is so weak and is highly likely to lose if McCain selects a conservative as his running mate.

Well, what if McCain does choose Lieberman?

Well, what if McCain does choose Lieberman?
I don't think that will happen. However, if it did, I would still have no choice but to vote for McCain. McCain is poles apart from Obama on nearly every issue that is important to me, so I couldn't possibly help Obama get elected by voting 3rd party or not voting.

FWIW, I don't think Joe-Mentum wants it.

This is just more media manipulation. Just as the Hearst Whores choose both candidates for POTUS, especially monkeying around in the GOP primaries (since they long ago selected OBurkha as "their" candidate), they now want to agitate by causing dissention in the GOP and conservative ranks by trying to "choose" McCain's Veep for him.
And since McCain still does not seem to understand that the Hearst Whores are not his friends, he may listen to them, yet.

I doubt there's any chance McShame would pick Lieberman as a running mate.
He'll never pick someone more conservative than himself.

To be funny a joke must have an element of truth about it. Since your joke has no truth to it, there is no comedy in it. :thumbdn:

If these names are being floated to test the waters, I hope that the Lieberman idea gets sunk faster than the Lusitania.
If true, I ain't voting. I'm waiting to see who McCain's VP choice is before deciding whether or not to bother voting for him. So far, Gov Sarah Palin of Alaska and Romney are the only choices I think can help carry the ticket. Pawlenty can carry MN. Big deal - less electoral college votes than VA if Obamanation picks their governor. Losing deal.

 Elgalad's not voting for McCain. Okay, I think I got it, now. I'll be sure to make a note of it for future reference.

 Alaska has more EVs than Minnesota or Virginia?

1. She's reportedly conservative; how conservative, I don't know.
2. As a woman, she could get enough votes from angry Hilldebeast supporters to carry enough purple states to win the election.
3. A conservative woman would be a great standard bearer for Republicans in 2012 if McCain, uh, isn't able to run for reelection.

I strongly suspect that these names (Pawlenty and Lieberman) are only being floated by the liberal media.
