I am hoping that you guys can help!! DJ thought we had a movie in our Neflix queue that was set in the time of King Arthur and had something to do with a young prince/king that gets exiled to an island. The movie follows his ordeals to adulthood when he goes back to claim the throne. Does this sound familiar to anyone?? I have tried searching for it, but am not coming up with anything.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Do you know any of the actors/actresses names in the movie? Director? Approximate age/year of the film? How about any of the characters' (in the film) names? Without a little more to go on, the only movie I can think of is the story of King Arthur, but I don't know what version of the movie it would be. If you can provide any more info, it might help.

Sorry, :(

My old roommate had a movie like that.

Okay, I'm looking for links where you might find the movie --

Check here:

(Could it have been "Prince Valiant"?)

Thank You!!

Sorry, that's all I have, he couldn't remember. Another friend of mine figured it out - The Last Legion

*sigh*

Thanks! And thank you for those two links...gave me some other movies to add to our queue.

Since we got Netflix and can hook our laptop up to the big TV, other than news and Deadliest Catch I think we could turn the cable off! LOL!!

I was reminded of the book by Mark Twain, The Prince and the Pauper, while I was reading your description.

Okay, I have a movie in mind that I saw waaaay back from the late 60s-early 70s. It was a late-show thing on our b/w TV. I think one of the characters was part of the Lost In Space series. The movie opens with a college professor who starts a movement that turns into a hippie-type cult with his own slogan: Love more, live more, be more." It was kind of eery for me at that age, but maybe it convinced me to dislike hippies enough not to become one.

Any ideas?

Male or female character? Young or old? There were only seven regular cast members (not counting the dude that played the robot, but you can't see him for the costume, :smirk:)

Could it be . . .

Blue Sunshine (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074226/)

The only other suggestion I have is, could it have been an episode of "The Twilight Zone" or "Night Gallery"?

I went through the seven actors' IMdB listings, and those were the only ones I saw that seemed to fit the bill.

The Love-Ins (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061922/)?

That had Mark Goddard, who was Major West on Lost in Space.

The Love-Ins.

Yeah, that's the one, with Mark Goddard, and I had forgotten about the dude from Hawaii Five-O. You people really astound me. How did you figure it out? Unfortunately, it doesn't exist on video/DVD, and TCM has no plans to show it.

I went to imdb.com and looked up the history of the Lost in Space actors.
