They check in, but they don't check out. Jose Medelin made his appointment with his maker Tuesday night despite the attempted medling of the International Court of Appeals and the objections of Mexico City. Chalk one up for the good guys!

But it is man's job to attempt a reckoning on behalf of the murdered. If it succeeds, it is a reckoning. If it fails, the pendulum has not finished its swing.
Screw the punk, and Bush can do the monkey dance for him, for all I care.

Texas executes Mexican-born killer (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gpkdpV0pGSS_ozv30DC1F1QkVd5wD92CHCNG5)
HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — Texas has executed Mexican-born condemned prisoner Jose Medellin for the rape and murder of two teenage girls 15 years ago.
The state carried out the execution late Tuesday night after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected his request for a reprieve in a split vote.
:claps: Despite the efforts of President Bush, Mexico, and the bleeding-heart liberals to stop it, justice has now been served. :claps:

The fact that it took 15 years just blows my mind. That it took 15 years to execute the perp? There are others sitting on death row who have been there 20 years or more.

If it makes the anti-death penalty weenies feel better, I call it a reckoning, or taking out the trash.

I, for one, am not happy. I'm not sad because the guy was put down; he had no right to continue living. I'm not even unhappy that it took 15 years, although I think the evidence was clear enough that the lengthy appeals process could have been substantially shortened with no infringement on the perp's rights. What makes me angry is that two beautiful teenagers were brutally murdered. Killing the murderer (or one of them, at least, as others were involved) won't bring them back, or undo what happened to them. (Not giving Medellin the needle wouldn't have brought them back, either.)
I just hope the families and friends of the victims can find some closure and know that justice was (finally) served.

I wish he'd have been swung at the end of a rope...needles are far too humane for PoS like this scumbag.
Make an example out of pusbuckets like this and maybe others will somehow "find" some self-control...

Liberals bitch that the DP (among other things) is not a deterrent. Rush Limbaugh pointed out years ago why the DP really isn't a deterrent: very few people who commit murders are ever executed, even in Texas, where it's used most frequently.
This is SOP for the left, though: create a bunch of trouble, then complain about how much trouble there is.
As Dr. Suess would say,
Now he's dead.
Dead I said!

Just to show Texas wasn't pickin' on Mexicans ,a couple days later they put down a Honduran.
Unless anyone thinks it is improper for me to be celebrating the death of this monster, click the following link. I warn you, the story is very graphic.

"I am where I am because of an adolescent choice".
An adolescent choice. An adolescent choice. That is how this ******* ************* *********** *********** ********** describes what he did. He is a demon. The world is a better place with him dead.
I look forward to January 20, 2009. Because whoever wins, George W. Bush will not be President any more. It makes me sick that my President actually pleaded for this ******* ************* *********** *********** ********** to be spared the death penalty. President Bush is a disgrace and the country will be far better off when he's no longer in the White House.
I deeply regret voting for President Bush in 2000 and 2004.

I deeply regret voting for President Bush in 2000 and 2004.Maybe, but I wouldn't surprised if Bush's "plea" for the perp's life might have been a lot of show, with Bush knowing that there wasn't anything he could really do. If a Democrat had been in the White House, OTOH . . .
I'm just fed up. I'm sick of the "lesser of two evils" argument. President Bush has not been someone who we can say just has a couple of areas where he's off the reservation. He's stabbed us in the back time and time again.
Advocating for this monster, this demon, is just the most recent outrage from the Bush White House. I will not be looking back in a year, two years, or four years wishing I had voted my conscience. The lesser of two evils is still evil, and I am voting for...

So snuffing the lives of two innocents was an "adolescent choice", eh? I think it should be the executioner's "adolescent choice" to pick the manner of disposing of the trash, then. I will voluteer for free, including room, board, and transportation, for the privilege of my using "adolescent choice" on the next scumbag.
