Who is Randall Zwinge? Randall James Hamilton Zwinge, aka James Randi, or "The Amazing Randi," is a magician and debunker of paranormal or supernatural claims.

He is perhaps most famous for the $1 Million Paranormal Challenge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Randi_Educational_Foundation#The_One_Million _Dollar_Paranormal_Challenge).

In the 1970's, Uri Geller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uri_Geller) was famous for his apparent psychic ability to bend spoons. The credulous, by the millions, accepted his claimed feats of psychokinesis as fact, and proof of peoples' ability to affect their environment by thought-power (an earlier version of the faith taught by The Secret (http://www.amazon.com/Secret-Rhonda-Byrne/dp/1582701709)).

Tonight Show host Johnny Carson, who was a trained magician, invited Geller to demonstrate his psychokinetic gifts on his show. He also invited "James Randi" to set up controls for Geller's demonstration. When Geller couldn't hide his cheats, he failed utterly. Geller's name, and people's belief in PK were tattered.

Except for the all-too-many gullible idiots who will believe anything, like the BS that the Democrats have actually done anything worthwhile since they gained control of Congress, or that the gal who shaved her head and her hotel heiress friend are intelligent.

When Geller couldn't hide his cheats, he failed utterly. Geller's name, and people's belief in PK were tattered. Yeah, but that bald-headed kid in Matrix was the real thing! I seen it! He bent that spoon PK-ically! :lol:
