A single injection that could cure rheumatoid arthritis is being developed by British scientists.

The treatment works like a vaccine and could be available within five years. Cells would be taken from the body, altered, and injected back into the affected joint.

A team at Newcastle University will now test the vaccine on volunteers with the disease.

Scientists in the field are extremely excited about the development.

Just do what I do when a little bit of the Rheumatoid kicks in. Take your joint and move it violently around until you hear it crack several times. The fibrous tissue around the joint needs to be broken down. Work it over real good. Then load up on Move Free by Schiff (http://www.movefreeadvanced.com/).

I've found that you need to be hard on the body and my method works better than when Dorothy lubricated the Tin Man after having sat in the woods forever. Beat the shit out of your body. Your body will respond to that.

Well . . . rheumatoid is quite different than austio.

With austio, I agree fully that moving that joints can be very beneficial. My mother taught me that. She always said, "When Old Art kicks in, just pick up a hoe and go after the weeds in the garden."

Rheumatoid is a whooooooole other kettle of fish.

I have rheumatoid, and I know.

I have been very, very lucky. I have had very few rheumatoid flares over the years--it stays mostly in remission. I had a dear, dear friend who was diagnosed six months before I was diagnosed. She never had a period of remission that lasted longer than a couple of months.

She died five years ago.
