Need help with avatar

I know i probably sound really stupid, but i've been posting here for a couple months now and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to put an avatar under my name when i post. all help would be very useful. Thanks...

Click on My Home at the top of site menu,

Under Main Configuration, go to Personal information, email, password, etc. and click Edit.

Scroll down and where it says URL to your picture (120x120 max pixels, may be smaller) (.gif, .jpg, .png accepted) type in the URL path to your picture. For example, mine is http://www.nosferatuscoffin.com/Webmaster/FCPixNew.jpg so that is what I typed into mine.

lazy...you have to upload the pic to a site on the internet. I found that out when I tried to link to my hard drive, too. http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif
