With the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin this week, people around the world are celebrating his role as the father of evolutionary theory. Events and press releases are geared, in part, to combat false claims made by some who would discredit the theory.
One frequently cited "hole" in the theory: Creationists claim there are no transitional fossils, aka missing links. Biologists and paleontologists, among others, know this claim is false.

Transitional fossils without proof of transitional DNA is baseless.

No proof cited at all at your link. Only interpretations based on the assumption of evolution, as usual.

Gosh, it's so strange...what these "scientists" claim to be the ancestor of elephants, mastodons and mammoths, the Moeritherium (http://www.livescience.com/php/multimedia/imagedisplay/img_display.php?pic=MDgwNDE0LU1vZXJpdGhlcml1bS0wMi 5qcGd8TW9lcml0aGVyaXVtLCBhIDM3IG1pbGxpb24teWVhci1v bGQgYW1waGliaW91cyByZWxhdGl2ZSBvZiBtb2Rlcm4uLi58TW 9lcml0aGVyaXVtLCBhIDM3IG1pbGxpb24teWVhci1vbGQgYW1w a) looks amazingly like a tapir. They claim it's the "the ultimate transitional fossil"...I say *cough* bullshiite *cough*
These "people" are shameless...

First it was the death of Pajamas Media soon to be followed by LGF.
Maybe Charles should just incorporate a T.O. feed right into his blog, then slip right into a coma of irrelevance.

I appreciate your good fight, EveningStar. Keep it up! Some will never accept the evidence, but Christians have nothing to fear from evolution. God does what He wills, and it will always be that way.

Richard Dawkins tries to come up with a single example of evidence for the 'fact' of microbes to man evolution:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaKryi3605g
Lots of comments about the video, including links to atheist videos that allege to refute the creationists claims - so I watched one of their explanations - it was the same old 'mutations adding information by making mistakes' bullshit.
I have nothing to fear from evolutionists, they have no facts at all. Only their faith.

There are no "transitional" fossils. There are only fossils misinterpreted by evowackos to support their junk science.

I was reading last week about a guy in the microbiology field who says that mutations don't create new species; if they don't die out, they yield regressions to the mean in their offspring. The pull of the original intended idea -- the species mean -- is just too strong to be branching off into other species.
You can see this phenomenon everywhere. I know a guy who won full scholarships to Yale and then to MIT, where he took a doctorate in organic chem. His Canadian wife was just as smart, taking her BS from McGill (Canada's Harvard) on scholarship and then going to MIT on another scholarship. Both are PhD's in difficult fields. Both are extraordinarily bright.
They have three kids. All are bright, but not a one is anywhere nearly as bright as either parent.
