What design should I....

carve?

I don't participate in many Halloween activities for religious reasons. However, I do decorate a pumpkin every now and then for fun.

I've purchased two large pumpkins -- one for carving and one for painting. I've already planned the design for the pumpkin to be painted, but I'm stumped when it comes to the pumpkin meant for carving. I've seen several neat patterns on the Internet. My favorites include G.W. Bush, a group of planes, and a timberwolf. I'm also considering the idea of making my own design.

If I decide to do my own design, what do y'all think I should do?

I carve pumpkins too. But, mine tend to be more spooky than what you've probably got in mind. Yes, there are some neat designs on the Net but many of them are difficult. I carved GO HEELS in my latest effort with small cat eyes over the E's. After you carve it, spray hair spray on it to make it last longer.

I have never painted pumpkins but I've also seen some cool painted ones on the Net.

Rink, it's only sprayed on the outside and you're supposed to allow it to dry. The candle is on the inside.

Well, that would be a GREAT one, Nos. I think you should put Bustamante's face on it and throw it at a Farm Workers rally into the speaker..but that is just me.

Nos, I wouldn't waste my money on a pumpkin for such a thing. And in less than a month, that idiot and the rest of his ilk will be gone.
