Ach, sss! Cautious, my preciousssssssss!

Oh man, am I excited too! I'm counting the days!

I've checked in daily with "TheOneRing" site ever since day one. My son and I are major fans. I had to drag him to 3 different Burger Kings in an attempt to collect all of the figures from their promotions. http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon129.gif

I was able to meet a few "behind the scenes" workers at Dragon*Con but disappointed John-Rhys-Davies couldn't make it. It was really hard to know who was who, with 26,000 fans attending! I wish Sean Astin would have shown too. I met him on the set of Goonies. He wouldn't remember me but I'd love to tell him he did a great job going from Mikey to Samwise!

(And this is hysterical-- he had double degrees in English and History when his agent called about Lord of the Rings audition. Astin said, "Oops, I never read the books. I guess I better start?") http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rotflmbo.gif

BTW, am I the only one tempted to fire at Gollum everytime he appears on screen? http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon62.gif

Wow RC. You sound a little giddy. http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif LOL.
I am very excited too, but in a manly 'Let's kick some Orc A$$' sort of way. http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

I have mixed feelings about the third one coming out as I realize that will be the end of them. It's been the one good movie a year you could count on for the last three years. You know what would be cool is if they went back a made "The Hobbit" into a movie.

Those movies do nothing for me. I don't understand the hype. Sorry.

I was in the attic last week pulling out Halloween gear and happened upon a black wig which I immediately placed upon my very shorn head, when I came downstairs my wife said I looked like Viggo from LOTR.

Without the wig though, I'm more my military-looking sadistic self. "Private! You look like the kind of boy who doesn't even give his boyfriend the courtesy of a reach-around!"

I've been told a cross between Ed Harris and Emilio Estevez, say if they were to have sex and carry to term...out I'd pop.

yes i am also eagerly awaiting Return of the King. i've heard this is the war movie. the whole thing is a giant battle at minas tirith and the march to mordor. i can't wait.

to cap the year it will be matrix revolutions and LOTR.
