My PC is pretty old -- going on 4 years. PokerStars would run on my PC that's 7 years old, though.
So long as you're running Windows 95 or above, it's hard to imagine a computer not playing PokerStars.

I would ask your config, but we should take that to the Techi Thread.
As for the basics of PokerStars, does it run in a true bit 16 or 32 bit graphical environment?

· 10MB of free disk space
Recommended system configuration:

That is the point. Even the avg 4 yaar old PC will run a 400Mhz Celeron with an avg of 32-64MB of RAM and with 8-16 of video memory.
That is why I asked. However, those specs are not too out of line. We shall see. Thanks for passing that along. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey, everyone! Hope you all had a great NY celebration! (By the looks if it, you did /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif )
We went to a lovely restaurant and had a smashing (and very expensive) meal. I like beef too, although I'm more a fishy person (I adore fish). But I like my beef medium done. I asked for medium rare once and the thing still moooed at me.
Since it was a rare new year here in Maine (40 degrees and no snow) I thought there was going to be a major fireworks shindig. Well, there was ... sort of. They had fireworks indoors, if you can believe that. Yeah. They had some hockey match (for which you had to pay the entrance to) and then they would launch the fireworks once that was done. Don't ask me. I read it in the papers. They decided here that they are going to make new year celebration more a "family celebration" (the children!) and so everything wraps up at about 10. Man, am I going to be glad to be out of this place.
Anyway, here I am, bitching again. Sorry about that.
Have a lovely day folks! Nurse that hangover. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon129.gif

Uproar is just a bunch of ads and when I try to click on a game nothing happens.

You do have to DL their apps to actually play their games. Do not worry, it is not spam filled popups. You also have to fill out a reg form.
If I trust it to DL, anyone can.

Bummer that you had to work on New Years Day. I hope you had a good dinner and can kick back a bit tonight. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I registered, which was quite annoying btw. They want to spam your email with a bunch of junk. But I didn't download anything. I'll think about trying again.
