Couldn't download link.
So what are we talking about?
A carrier I assume.
Send in the whole Armada. Spin them turbines.
Widowmakers
Ticonderogas
Black out the sun.
Its gonna be Red October.
This has got to be prophetic. Call Nostradamus. I'm gonna go flip thru the Bible, chapter and verse. Its gotta be there somewhere.
Oh yeah, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. The handwriting on the wall. 'Mene mene, tekel tekel'.

The aircraft carrier Constellation with 72 warplanes aboard will head for the Gulf on November 2, 2002, the latest piece in a quiet U.S. buildup off Iraq, Navy officials said on October 18. The 88,000-ton Constellation, seem in this undated file photo, will be the third U.S. carrier in the region. It was sticking to a schedule worked out at least nine months ago, and not being accelerated due to the Iraqi crisis officials said. Photo by Reuters

It is so reassuring to have leaders that know how to take war seriously. A good Iraqi ass-kicking is just what the Dr. ordered. Hope the America haters are paying very close attention.

My dad was on the USS Ticonderoga aircraft carrier.
Deck duty was intense. Sometimes those birds would miss the cable and have to 180. Some would run out of gas and tank. Occasionally a bird would slam the side, you could hear those pretty much anywhere on the ship. And just 'bout everyday, there was injury on deck, that cable would snap and cut a man's legs out right from under him like a cheesecutter.
You wouldn't see daylight for 100 days at a pop if you weren't a deckhand. Men would turn into pale white sheets. Confined bunks. Sardines stacked four by four. Smelling sock and jock. Guitars would strum in the dark past midnight, soothing streams of gospel or Johnny Cash.
My dad lifting weights, would have to time his squats with the ship's rise and fall. And if the swale was big that day, vomit would slush the narrow walkways, men's faces greener than traffic lights. The only thing you could do is take 'em outside for a fresh salt air breeze or to the medic.
I assume things have changed some. That picture that Tac linked, ripping open Neptune's heart wide open. Beautiful. Deadly.
When the muslims hit the buildings in NY they had no idea what was about to occur. They thought the paper tiger was gonna get shredded, that we'd just lob some cruise missile. Chubbers would have, ditto gore. But, they didn't know what the cowboy would do. No idea.
PS I hope some nuclear subs are under that water too. Pack 'em around off Israel.
