Those same kind people who brought us Reagan, In His Own Hand have just released a new collection of essays from the same treasure trove. Where as the first book published some of Reagan's essays that dealt with politics and policy, this new book, Stories In His Own Hand, The Everyday Wisdom of Ronald Reagan, collects some of the essays that were simply stories. Some are fictional and some deal with real people.
Stories In His Own Hand differs from the prior book in that they present the final draft without any of Reagan's editing marks to allow for smoother reading. They have also corrected the spelling and expanded Reagan's abbreviations.
The editors also state that they are preparing a second volume of Reagan, In His Own Hand which will have nearly 450 more essays, complete with Reagan's editing. All of the essays in Stories In His Own Hand will be included in that volume with the full Reagan editing shown.
Stories In His Own Hand, The Everyday Wisdom of Ronald Reagan
edited by Kiron K. Skinner, Annelise Anderson, and Martin Anderson with a foreword by George P. Schultz
