I have an odd question. Yes, I do have an appt first thing in the morning. Does anyone know what might cause my eyes to bleed? Not like pour the blood but kinda like the way matter comes out when you are sick. Except for me it's blood. Pure blood. I have lost some of my sight today and have double/blurred vision and extreme light sensitivity. I am wearing my sunglasses in the house and it's dark in here and outside. I've held a cold compress on them and that helped a little. But they still burn and hurt. Any suggestions?
BTW, i'm a big chicken about eye stuff. I'm afraid of the eye doc like most are afraid of the dentist..lol. Luckily, my brothers wife works as the assistant to the best eye doc around. I am going there tomorrow morning.
Sorry to be gross (well, to me this is gross because it's about eyes..lol)
thanks,
love,

I went to the eye doc this morning and just got back. I finally faced my fears and had a complete exam too /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. I'm such a chicken. Anyway, he said I have viral conjunctivitis. I have had an infection in my lungs and chest and it has moved to my head and somehow according to him that can cause it. That is why my eyes were bleeding. I still can hardly see, good thing I know my keyboard /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon129.gif
I told him I was afraid of him..lol. He said "don't worry, i'll wait until the end to poke you in the eye".
Just glad it's over. It eased my fears alot. My brother's wife works there and helped examine me so that made it easier too. Nowhere near as bad as I thought :D
Heh glad its nothin too serious, you just take care o them eyes, and get that infection under control, and plz rest em willya? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
and take care of yourself too while yer at it.

Think of it this way. What's worse, a little sting from some drops or extreme pain from a worsening eye condition. Don't mean to sound morbid but considering the worse case scenario makes me take the easy route.
Get well soon. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wishes.gif

I used them and they aren't that bad. Eyes were swollen almost shut today but I put an ice pack on them for a while and it went down so I can see better now. We went out tonight and I didn't look half chinese like I have over the past couple days /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
