Hello Everyone, I'm going on the train to Florida tonight so I won't be around for a week or so. I might check in while I'm gone.
I hope you all have a great week.

A train ? Neat ....I need to go by rail sometime .....as a train buff , it is kinda tacky that I've never ridden the rails more than dinner and tourist/museum trains ....
I sent my folks from Chicago to FL by rail a few years ago ......
I just flew my first commercial airliner in Feb ..maybe trains this summer !
Hope your trip is a safe one .....

That's so cool. I'm going to Florida in about a month or so. It's a big thing to me considering i've never seen the ocean. I'm going to Boca Raton, Orlando, Miami and the Keys!!! I'm so excited. All expenses paid too :D

Thanks Heather, Dave, and Gracie!
Yes, I had a wonderful time!!! Got to see both parents and spend some time with them. We cooked seafood every night, and I stayed so busy that the time was up before I knew it. The temp. was 77 when I left, and I'm back to a rainy cool day here in North Carolina.
Gracie, if you've never seen the ocean, you're going to the right places. The water is gorgeous. You're gonna love it, especially the Keys.

THC Lounge was The History Channel Lounge. If you didn't know, it wasn't you. That Lounge is closed now but when it was active there was a poster there called Timberwolf. Oh, well. Doesn't matter.
This is a super looking place. BIG!! I came from ezboard. There are two boards there I am most active on. Anyone wanting to check them out, let me know. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon27.gif

Kennesaw! Home of the mandatory gun owners! And a lower crime rate.

Thanks Mike, that's what I've told Heather before! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon129.gif
Rhino, wow!!!! I'm freaking impressed! Funny though, all the Kennesaw schools have the "gun-free zone", "pot-free zone", "knife-free zone." I can pack my gun around Kennesaw but must ditch it near any school. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
I do enjoy the low crime rate though. I love to throw this mandate into gun control arguments.

Aw too bad. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif Sounds like the tour guide was maybe caught up in The War Room or hobby stores?
Or did you distract them in your usual fashion? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon129.gif
Yes, definitely come up on a hot summer day!!

Don't be. I did massive research projects on gun control and the NRA in college. That's how I ended up a life member of NRA and a Republican. I was generally a democrat in favor of gun control before then.

Wasn't a hard choice once I discovered how much I'd been lied to, and was still being lied to. I had already started to drift away from them prior, just due to life experience showing me the dems were out of touch with reality. My research efforts just reinforced those feelings by overturning more lies, and cementing my transition.

Fireman ,
would you believe "rough sex" with a red head ?
he he he .........
no , actually , I was just walking thru the barn and I turned my ankle hard on the cement ...... broke that sucker right off , just above the ankle ........ milked cows that Saturday night right on over the entire weekend and finally went to the doc on Monday afternoon .....
he couldn'tbelieve i walked in .let alone milked cows and chored for 2 days ....... guess Excedrin and Mt Dew are truly miracle pain killers ....... or I have a rather high tolerance for pain .(which is handy for rough .....) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon129.gif
Rhino

Split my right kneecap in half back in 96. Couldn't take a single step. Lower tolerance I guess.
Actually, I'm allergic to pain. I break out in screams.

I'm sure that a knee cap is much worse than a leg .... OUCH !!
I was run over by a cow when i was 13 ......... split my rib cage .never did heal .if i stretch right , you can hear the sternum "crack" .I'm ready for open heart surgery ...... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon129.gif
oh , yes ..... I punched the cow as she ran over me ...broke a knuckle ,too .a still have a floating bone spur that bothers if I bowl alot .....
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/viking.gif
was kicked in the ribs and broke 2 ribs last year .I had to wear my lower back brace cinched around my chest .just under my armpits .to hold myserlf together ......
I tell you what hurt a tad bit .broken collarbone .oy !
and a messed up lower back ........ bending and choring is so much fun when your lower back is out ........
and a 1200 lb heifer stomped on my one big toe ....i have no big toenail on that foot ........ bugger ...........
Rhino

In the interest of accuracy, I should be more specific. I'm not allergic to all strains of pain. I don't break out in screams when exposed to painus minimus. I sometimes break out when exposed to painus moderus though, and usually when exposed to painus maximus. But I always break out in screams when exposed to painus extremis.
