What do you expect from a Chevy Suburban with fancy cladding?
The H2 is not an off-road vehicle. It only plays one on TV.

Good point, but it's a Tahoe, not a Suburban. They come straight off the Chevy Tahoe assembly line and get a new body bolted on top. Other than the body and interior, it's all stock Tahoe. I like Hummers (the H1s), and I'll be one of the first to admit that the H2 does look good, but I'm not gonna pay an extra $20,000 just to get a Tahoe with a squared off body that looks good.

The Hummer IS an off road vehicle. I drove one enough in the Army to know through the mud and muck.
But I will say this of them. I wouldn't pay for one now. It's more vehicle than anyone should need for everyday use. Besides, I need a house first.
I prefer the H1 thank yew (If I had the money and choice, that would be my choice of vehicle.)

You're referring to the H1, Beo. He was referring to the H2, which is a Chevy Tahoe with a hummer style body bolted on.

I guess that would depend on your everday use. I'd love to have an H1, but the cost stops me as well. My pickup is almost as wide and quite a bit longer (the turning radius SUCKS!), so an H1 would not be that much more vehicle for me. I love off-roading. Despite the over hyped capability of the H2, I still like it. Heck, I like Tahoes, so why wouldn't I like an H2? But the extra 20 grand for a different body just doesn't make sense to me, no matter how pretty it is!

I stand corrected. Thanks. I'd love an H1 but with a 54 mile commute to work one way, it wouldn't be a wise choice.

Oops...and thanks for the clarification.
