Look at the Impeachment votes in the House and the Senate. If ever a vote should have not been partisan it was then. But votes in both the House and the Senate were along party lines.
Look at the outcry against Condit....keep looking........never mind.
I think that many people serving in the House and Senate have FBI file information that they want kept secret. I think many legistlators are morally corrupt so they can not clean their own house.
Think about it. They have all opted out of social security then fart around not fixing it, they fixed it so they would not have a problem-tough for you and me. They have fringe benefits out the wazoo. They do not even "work" full time.
I say it is time to clean House and Senate and I am really pissed!!!!!!!!
It is time for term limits!!!!!
It is time to get rid of their perks!!!!
It is time they learned to live like you and me!!!!!
It is time they get a dose of reality!!!!
I want a normal person representing me, not a damned untouchable millionaire elitist.
The way things have evolved is B.S. and MUST be changed.

Excuse me but I do not think it will be that hard to do. How many people do not even vote? How many that do vote are unhappy? All we have to do is lock into what a majority of these people want from government, make that the platform, and run a grass-roots campaign to defeat incumbents in the House and Senate.
All that really matters is the future of our country, the course we are on will lead to destruction. Do not believe me? What are you going to do with all those people, say 75 million who have no savings when SS goes under in 25 years or so? The assholes in Congress have their own retirement, why should they care? They have only been working on it for about 30 years.

The problem is that, generally speaking, the voting population has become APATHETIC! I agree that it is time to "clean out" the House and Senate. There are VERY FEW memebers that I would vote for. Back to my supposition. Just because you and I vote for "new blood", doesn't mean that the incumbent will be defeated. It's not hopeless, but it will take a LOT of work.
