A 22-year-old man was raped by four women early Saturday morning in Ekangala, Mpumalanga, police spokesperson John Thamana said.

The man was walking alongside the road when a silver BMW stopped.

The occupants, four women, asked the man for directions. He got into the car and they took him to a cemetery in Ekangala where they each raped him, according to police.

After the rape, the women allegedly said to the victim: "Welcome to the world of Aids."

The part about AIDS was making the rounds ten years ago. Guy picks up girl, takes her home, engages in wild and wonderful sex, and next morn he wakes to find her gone. Goes into bathroom to find a message in lipstick on the mirror: "Welcome to the world of AIDS." I read about it in Ann Flanders.

Possibly they know the legend, but it's a distinctly 'Murrican legend. As for landers and her kin, Abby, I wouldn't trust either of those twits to get the date right.

The legend has variations, such as people in phone booths poking fingers into the coin return slots and being pricked by needles wrapped in notes saying, "Welcome to the world of AIDS."
