Single girls urged to go west
Single women are being told to head to remote Australia if they want to find a man.
While nationally women outnumber men, that is not the case in western Queensland.
A social atlas of rural and regional Australia shows there is a high proportion of men in remote areas like western and north-western Queensland.
The atlas says in towns such as Boulia and Bulloo Shire elderly men substantially outnumber elderly women by more than two to one.

Kiwi, there are any number of women in this world who would be delighted if ANY man noticed them or paid them some attention. Look at pictures from the 1800's and you'll be struck at how homely many of the people are by today's standards -- especially the women. Almost none of the men had money or prospects. Had the women waited for a man with some change in his pocket, they'd never have married and never had families to give rise to US.
My grampa was strikingly handsome and full of fun and life, and could have had his choice of women. Yet in 1913 he married my gramma -- the fat, cross-eyed daughter of a roving preacher. Grampa wanted a woman who could bear children and bear up under the harsh life on a small farm. He got exactly what he wanted and was happy with gramma. I would imagine the men in the Australian Outback think similarly since they have similarly hard lives.
People who need each other in fundamental ways beyond sex don't care much about money or looks and for-sure don't want a partner who's skinny, fashion-conscious and bulimic. I've read of men in the Old West who married and raised good families with hookers. Why marry a hooker when you can just pay for what you want and not be tied down? Apparently those men knew exactly what they wanted.

Fox,
But do you think they would give up everything the've got and move clear across the world? I think you'd have to be incredibly determined to do something like that. If someone has the guts to do that then more power to them. I wasn't exactly refering to looks, when I made that statement. But as for moving away from home. my gandma did that. she met my grandpa during world war 2. he had just escaped to switzerland from a prisoner camp in italy. she moved all the way to england by herself in post-war torn europe to marry him when he asked her. so yes it can be done. I just don't think I'd move all the way to australia...

But Mudd's women were either drug addicts or fembots. I think the Aussie's are looking for some flesh and blood that have the blood and guts to make it down undah. LOL

Funny Mudd's women could handle it on a harsh landscape of a planet, I bet they'd be able to handle Australia quite fine.
