I am glad I don't have to date anymore. I will keep my hairy guy.

I have a five o'clock shadow five minutes after I shave. Maybe I just never got the hang of pushing the razor a little harder. On the other hand, women seem to appreciate a recognizable man held the door for them.

I don't mind if my guy has stubble, but I prefer it when he shaves smooth except for his goatee. Guess it depends on what you grew up with though. In my family all the men were well groomed as they are all white collar and it was what was expected...and that is what I prefer.

Aha! a PRISS! a GOODY TWO SHOES! MISS MANNERLY! In my family we washed once a month whether we need it or not. We sweat all day in the hot sun, digging ditches on the chain gang. The gals used to hang around to watch the sweat roll down our tanned bellies, some of them racing over with mouths open to catch the beads that dripped ...

Wait. That's my Wyatt mode.

Yeah, I never cared much for stubble, myself. Itches and looks unsightly.

Yes, I'll admit it. I like stubble on a man, well, err, it looks good on MY man anyway. I'm more partial to the blue-collar types (read "redneck").

Brad Paisley has a (relatively) new song dealing with the "metrosexual" issue:

I'm Still A Guy

When you see a deer
You see Bambi
And I see antlers up on the wall
When you see a lake
You think picnics
And I see a large mouth up under that log
You’re probably thinkin' that you’re gonna change me
In some ways well, maybe you might
Scrub me down, dress me up
Oh, but no matter what
Remember, I’m still a guy

When you see a priceless French painting
I see a drunk naked girl
You think that ridin' a wild bull sounds crazy
And I’d like to give it a whirl
Well, love makes a man do some things he ain’t proud of
And in a weak moment I might
Walk your sissy dog
Hold your purse at the mall
But remember, I’m still a guy

And I’ll pour out my heart
Hold your hand in the car
Write a love song that makes you cry
Then turn right around
Knock some jerk to the ground
‘Cause he copped a feel as you walked by

I can hear you now talkin' to your friends
Sayin' yeah girls he’s come a long way
From draggin' his knuckles and carryin' a club
And buildin' a fire in a cave
But when you say a backrub means only a backrub
Then you swat my hand when I try
Well now what can I say at the end of the day
Honey, I’m still a guy

And I’ll pour out my heart
Hold your hand in the car
Write a love song that makes you cry
Then turn right around
Knock some jerk to the ground
‘Cause he copped a feel as you walked by

These days there’s dudes gettin' facials
Manicured, waxed, and botoxed
But with deep spray on tans and creamy lotioney hands
You cain’t grip a tackle box
Yeah, with all of these men linin' up to get neutered
It’s hip now to be feminized
But, I don’t highlight my hair
I’ve still got a pair
Yeah, honey I’m still a guy

Oh, my eyebrows ain’t plucked
Theres a gun in my truck
Oh Thank God, I’m still a guy
Yeah boy

Manliest verse in any song I've heard in a long while no doubt.

Homey, the first time I heard him sing that song, I just about wrecked my Suburban, I was laughing so hard.

But, I had to scream, "YESSSSS!!!" and do a fist pump or two. Best song written in YEARS!!

(and I don't even particularly care for country!! LOL)

It has nothing to do with what I want. Beards break the seal on a gas mask, even if I did want one .... I am overruled, for now anyway.

Clooney and Pitt? I thought stubble was a sign of maturity.

So. The truth at last. It's not the stubble per se that these Limey cows like, but the stubble on Clooney's and Pitt's mugs, more likely. Guessed as much.

That's it? These "experts" seem to have missed the real point, that point being that, in spite of feminazis, women still prefer their men to look (and be) manly, as opposed to some emasculated, "sensitive," puny, Woody Allen-type peacenik.

Expected.

The only drawback being "thigh rash"!!.......
